According to the Privacy Protection Law, תשמ”א – 1981, every person has the right to review by himself, or by his attorney authorized in writing or by a guardian, the information about him that is held in a database. A person who browsed through their personal information on the database and found out that the information is not correct, complete, clear or updated, may contact the owner of the database with a request to correct or delete the information. If the owner of the database refuses, he must inform the requester of this in the manner and way set forth in the regulations. The information requester may appeal against the refusal of the owner of the database to allow inspection and/or to correct or delete information, in the manner and way set forth in the regulations.

In addition, if the information in the Acum databases is used for the purpose of contacting you personally, based on your belonging to a population group, determined according to one or more characterizations of people whose names are included in the database (“contact by direct mail”), then you are entitled according to the Privacy Protection Law, תשמ”א – 1981, to demand in writing that the information relating to you be deleted from the database. If within 30 days you do not receive a notification that the information that Acum was asked to delete was indeed deleted according to this section, you will have the right to apply to a court in the manner stipulated in the regulations under the Privacy Protection Law, so as to order Acum to act as stated.
